The El fault code indicates a leak in a hose connection. This may happen when the drain gets clogged, or the connection is bad. Also, it is advisable to check the pump. If there is no blockage in the pump assembly, check the sump assembly for leaks. Make sure the washing pump’s impeller is not worn. If it is, replace it. The drain hose’s height should not exceed 20”.
